theatre In Actu is an independent theatre company based in Montreal, Canada founded with the mandate to produce professional high-quality independent work for the English Montreal community.
With a focus on the exploration on abstract texts and works we actively invite collaboration between artists and technicians from a variety of disciplines. Our approach centers on new forms of storytelling using physical improvisation, experimentation with sound, voice and multimedia, and movement choreography. Action, rhythm, and tempo converge in a heightened visual and aural performance.
Our first production was Sarah Kane's 4.48 Psychosis.
